
The Krajina Museum was founded in 1934 by the decision of Moravska master. It has around 15000 objects in its possession.
Since the beginning, the Museum has started organizing care about cultural monuments in Negotin region. Their primary activities of collecting, preserving, protecting and presenting cultural good are achieved through archeological, ethnological, art history departments, Department for documentation, guide service, and library. The museum has three facilities: Archeological museum, The memorial house of Stevan Mokranjac and the Hajduk Veljko museum (Brigand Veljko).


Visitors of this Museum can follow the historical, economic and cultural development of the city, through exhibit and items on display.
Many items are of great value and we hope the generations that come will guard them and pass them on.
Museum working hours are from 08h to 15h ( 8 a.m. To 3 p.m.)
During excursions, April-Jun and September-October Museum works from 08 to 18h, on Saturdays from 10 to 16h, and on Sundays from 10 to 14h.
